Hello all, old time member here visiting on a nostalgia trip around the internet~ I'll be entering my freshman year of college coming up very soon, and been going back and playing old games for nostalgia, Pokemon, Maplestory, and the like. Decided to get re-addicted to some games, and get that amazing nostalgia feel while I'm in the summer so I can focus on school work, haha. I remembered all the times I had on Minecraft, and definitely a huge part of that was here on Minetown! Looking now, the site is huge and there's so much going on I'm sure it's all exciting for you all! Also noticed that a wiki had been added, and I looked up my old faction (Frost!), and came across the wiki article about the "History of Minetown", and I realized it really was ridiculously drama-filled! I was only a kid then, and looking back at it there were alot of things that could have led to the demise/closure of this server. Lots of feels were had reading that up, and glancing at my "recent posts" on my Enjin profile made me remember lots of good times, good times! Many summer days spent on the server. I'm surprised to see many familiar faces(usernames) on some of the recent forum posts while browsing around, kudos to those that have stuck around! Definitely especially the staff, although none do I recognize the names of besides sawine! Just want to let the current members know that whether you like it or not, you'll be making lots of memories on here and to have lots of fun, definitely make friends and enjoy your time! You'll remember them for years to come. Sorry for the cheesy/pointless post but so many Minecraft and Minetown memories are rushing back to me, with the turbulent Mumble server, the awesome factions and faction wars, the so many friends I made and lost contact with... It's kind of sad, really!
